Description: This is where I take students drawing on the Downs. Hooray! this has now just been made into a national park so they can no longer build 500 houses on it. These Downs are very beguiling because they look easy to draw or paint but the gentle slopes and geometric divisions create all sorts of difficulties for students. This is one of the most unique and beautiful landscapes in the country.
