OCA Guide to Courses 09-10

New Guide to Courses for 09-10
A new Guide to Courses for 09-10 has just been released and can be viewed online HERE. It contains new courses, including Printmaking 2: Developing Your Style and Visual Studies 1: Looking and Seeing.
Please also note the following new course names. In these instances the course remains the same, it is simply the course name that has changed:

  • Photography 3 Your own exhibition becomes Photography 3 Your own portfolio
  • Painting 3 Your own exhibition becomes Painting 3 Your own portfolio
    • Textiles 3 Your own exhibition becomes Textiles 3 Your own portfolio
  • Writing 2 I lines Imaginative non fiction becomes Writing 2 Imaginative non fiction
  • Writing 2 Making Magic Happen becomes Writing 2 Writing for children

There are new editions of the following courses.
  • Understanding Art 3: Pathways into specialism becomes Understanding Art 2: Pathways into specialism. Please note that students currently studying this course at level 3 or who have already completed this course MAY SEEK CREDITS at level 3. Any new students from now may only seek credits at level 2.
  • Painting 2: Relating to other artists becomes Painting 2: Exploring Concepts. This new edition contains a new additional assignment, many new illustrations and adjusted and additional exercises.
