Richard Liley workshops announced
The Sketchbook Walks, Drawing Churches and Drawing and Painting on The Downs are half day Sessions (three hours) which will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for my private students, + an adult group of students and (now) OCA students. I have been running these sessions for years on an informal basis with my students during the Summer break, so I am just continuing the tradition but opening it out to a larger student base.
They are flexible Sessions and will run with 48 hours notice according to my commitments and as long as I have 4 people or more people and the weather is set fair -the sessions will go ahead. I will set the venue and give dates, directions and times to meet. I can also provide limited transport (a seven seater people carrier). The idea is to get people out into the countryside drawing or painting. I will give tuition and will draw or paint myself. The aim is to have some fun and learn at the same time. I am setting the rate at £20.00 for the session for up to 10 people but if the group is larger than ten, this the fee will drop to £18.00. Pay by cheque or cash on the day.
I will provide limited materials (pencils) and seating but it will be better if you have your own. All students must remember to bring a hat, bottled water, sun cream and protective clothing (raincoat, jumper etc.)
All the sessions will run around the Eastbourne, Lewes, Pevensey area with the first session taking place Thursday August 6th at 11a.m. at Pevensey Castle (meet in the car park).
