Time served in mechanical engineering, City & Guilds certificate from Wigan Tech. College Further City & Guilds (general photography 744) from Blackpool Tech College

Teaching

Taught for one year at Newton le Willows F.E. College. Developing and printing in monochrome and advanced printing techniques. Also use of camera and pictorial composition.

Work and personal background

Worked as a design draughtsman for Leyland Daf before setting up photographic studio specialising in wedding and portrait photography. Also involved in some commercial assignments and restoration work. Married with one son and daughter.

Published work and exhibitions

Not much published work, but have had countless exhibitions relating to wedding and portrait photography. Qualified member of the Master Photographers Association.

Ran a very successful studio for several years, but was forced to sell the business due to ill health, but ok now. Now looking into more freelance work and supplying image libraries.
