After 15 years working for the Media, I decided on a teaching career and took a degree in Fine Art at the University of Leeds, followed by a Masters in Printmaking specialising in photographic silk screen printing and photo etching, exhibiting in galleries around Yorkshire and the Czech Republic. I then completed my studies with a PGCE in Art & Design at the University of Huddersfield.
Since 2007 I have been a lecturer in BA (Hons) Contemporary Photographic Arts at The Batley School of Art & Design at Kirklees College and teach A-level Photography at York College. I have worked for Open College of the Arts since 2008 and enjoy receiving your work through the post or e-mail whether you live in Yorkshire or South Africa!
I have continued my passion for making hand-made books and currently I am researching artists' books and photo books, having made several of my own through various digital book publishing sites.
