Joe Fox originally obtained an honours degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering and then followed this with a Masters in Electronics. After 10 years in the software industry, Joe set up his own photography business and works as a full time freelance photographer in Northern Ireland.
Joe’s photography business mainly centres around Press/PR and Corporate photography. With an original background in ‘hard news’ photography for one of the local Northern Irish newspaper groups, Joe is currently Irish representative for one of the worlds largest news and entertainment photo agencies with photographs appearing in the local, national and international press. He specialises in Entertainment photography, in particular the areas of gig/concert photography, celebrity portraits and red carpet events.
Joe is the foremost corporate dance photographer in Northern Ireland with all the major contemporary dance companies as clients.
He is a former photographer and photo editor with an Irish motor sports magazine as well as being Irish representative for the international and UK karting magazines. He is an accomplished and published sports photographer with a wide range of sports.
In addition to the press and sports portfolio, Joe also maintains an active social photography side to the business with reportage wedding and contemporary portrait photography.
He maintains his own studio which is primarily focussed on product and stock photography. Joe is represented by a number of stock photography agencies and his photographs appear regularly in the international press.
Other areas of photographic interest include on site event photography, corporate and personal photography training. In addition to the corporate and professional photography training, Joe is also a tutor with the Open College of the Arts.
