Jane Parry

I am a book designer with an extensive portfolio of freelance work for the publishing industry.

Formerly Designer/Project Manager at BBC Books, I have a wealth of experience in graphic design and project management. I became freelance in 1998, designing book covers and contents for major publishing houses. Recent work includes designing and publishing artists’ books. Please see www.janeparry.co.uk and www.rosamundbooks.com

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 1992 with a BA Hons Fine Art, and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Printing and Publishing at London College of Communication in 1995. In my own practice I am preoccupied with the relationship between art and text and colour properties within painting and digital media.

I am a qualified and experienced lecturer, with an established reputation as a nurturer of successful and exciting talent within art and design. Currently I am Programme Leader of the Foundation Degree in Art and Design at Coleg Menai – I teach drawing, painting, photography, illustration and graphics/media.
