Celena Beech

I trained at Falmouth College of the Arts and achieved a BA (Hons) in Photographic Communication. I also achieved the Professional Qualification Examination to allow me to become an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers. Before this I studied at Hereford College of Art and Design where I received the Melgrays Award for Photography and Allied Media as well as a BTEC National Diploma in Photography.

I then went on to do a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Cornwall Business School, I did my teaching at Cornwall College on NCFE Photography, AS Level Photography and Forensic and Scene of Crime Photography.

I then moved to Shropshire where I taught City and Guilds Introduction to Black and White Photography and The Art of Black and White Photography.

I am currently teaching Introduction to Photography, Art of Photography and Creative Digital Arts courses with the Open College of the Arts.

I have exhibited at Hereford College of Art and Design, Falmouth Arts Centre and Falmouth College of Arts. My work is represented by picture libraries including Alamy, Moodboard and I-Stock and can also be found in the collection of IRIS - Women in Photography.
