Alan Byrne

Alan Byrne was born in Liverpool in 1946. On leaving school in 1962 he attended evening classes at Liverpool College of Art and then moved to London in 1964 to study at The London College of Fashion.

1967-1968 Hornsey College of Art (Foundation), 1968-1971, Fine Art (painting) at Walthamstow College of Art. Worked mostly part-time in community arts projects and teaching while practising and exhibiting as a painter and photographer.
