Still Life – man-made objects

This drawing project is a 1-day workshop

The aim of the workshop is to explore basic shapes.

Tutor: Jane Mitchell Saturday 27th February, 2010

Students are required to recognise that objects are made up of a number of basic shapes – the rectangle, circle, ellipse and triangle. The ‘Connect’ exhibit on level 1 of the Museum offers a range of large structures which can be used for observing how these basic shapes come together to build man-made objects, e.g. locomotive, steam engine, F1 racing car, space capsule, etc. Students may prefer to sit on the balcony above, to look down to draw these large objects from a higher viewpoint.

Price: OCA Student £30 / Non OCA Student £35
