Creating Abstract Compositions from Natural Forms

This workshop aims to encourage students to take a bold approach abstract composition and using acrylics. It is intended that students work in a larger scale than usual and explore in depth the potential of acrylic paint as a water based medium. Students will work using household decorating brushes from1/2” wide onwards in order to experiment with a broader and freer painting style. I will refer to a range of relevant artists such as Michael Porter, Ian McKeever, Georgia O’Keeffe.

Price: £40 OCA students, £45 non students.
