Brian Fletcher was an OCA student who graduated to being a tutor. Brian uses a variety of media, but his main passions are for oils, watercolours and pastels. He explores a wide variety of subject matter, but in recent paintings he has worked predominantly on a theme of landscapes based upon studies made in the Hebrides, the Highlands of Scotland, Ireland and Pembrokeshire. He finds great excitement in these rugged, mysterious and wild landscapes and through bold colour and rich textures explores his responses to them.

Brian is now a professional artist and demonstrates for arts materials suppliers at national art shows.
