This course helps you write better poems. At the same time, the course should increase your understanding and enjoyment of good poetry old and new, as you discover different ways of looking at poems. It is recommended that students take the Starting to Write course before starting this course but direct entry is available to more experienced writers

- Sestina, pantoum & rondeau
- Blank verse, syllabics & free verse
- Poetic techniques and traditions.
Course Assessment
You will receive comments and direction from your tutor
throughout the course. If you choose to have your work formally assessed,
you will receive details on submitting a folio of work with the course
materials. Accreditation applied for.
