Overview

The beauty and skill of fine illuminated manuscripts, particularly of the Mediaeval and Renaissance periods, has long been widely appreciated. Our Calligraphy course represents an opportunity to learn more about this ancient art.

You will receive comments and direction from your tutor throughout the course but please note that no formal assessment is offered.

Postal tuition you send work to your tutor for comments and direction.

Time Guide:

To complete the course in 5 months requires about 5 hours study a week.

Materials:

A free pack of calligraphic tools and materials is included to help get you started. Guidance is given on further materials you may need.

Fees:

£450 full fee or £215 deposit and 4 x £74 monthly payments, totalling £511
